Grant House Eatery - Rush City

This was a fun place to stay. Having the restaurant downstairs was very convenient, the staff there was delightful. We really enjoyed the patio and front porch. I would have enjoyed our stay much more if they hadn't had air fresheners plugged into all the outlets. I had a raging headache the first night we stayed there from the artificial fragrance. Unfortunately we did not have a bath mat in our bathroom and the tile floor in the bathroom was very slippery, my husband fell down. They need to pay attention to the details.

We were in town for a wedding at Creekside Farms (just 4 min down the road) and booked a room day of. I cannot believe how comfortable it was, I slept great. Felt very clean while still homey. We stayed in room 6 with the king bed I did not want to get up in the morning it was so cozy. It was also incredibly convenient, self checkin with door codes. I highly recommend.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but I enjoyed my stay so much I had to do it. We stayed in the Wilder's Suite and it was one my favorite places I've ever stayed. The bed was huge and supremely comfortable, the TV had a roku hooked to it so we could sign into our streaming services and watch whatever we wanted, the decor of the room was very cozy and welcoming. To top it off the bathroom was super cute. It even had a nice big tub in it so my wife could enjoy a relaxing bath. If we are ever in the area again we will be staying here no question.

We ate lunch at The Fort. Food was great: pulled pork Hawaiian tacos and a Reuben panini. We loved both!
