163 - Runnymede

This is one of my favourite restaurants…brilliant atmosphere, delicious food and good staff especially Izzy who is the life and soul of the place very energetic efficient and charming. I would normally give 5 stars but tonight my sweet potato and chickpea curry wasn’t the same dish I had previously eaten, very few chick peas too much mango not as tasty ….my husband’s steak was perfect.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Bar 163. I visited with my wife and our two-year-old child, and we were impressed by the outstanding hospitality and delicious food. This restaurant is a hidden gem, with the perfect ambiance created by the candles, lighting, and seating arrangements. The food quality was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly. We are already making plans to host our work Christmas party at Bar 163.

I was there with my family of 4. Two of us had different Thai curries. There was barely 2 spoonfuls of rice and hardly any food on the plate. Very very poor value for money. This restaurant was always a good place to go with lovely food but not anymore. The wine was warm and other people were saying the same. There are plenty of other places to eat.

Amazing food great atmosphere really busy, I haven’t enjoyed a meal out so much for a long time I had the special seafood linguine which was so tasty and fresh. We will definitely be going back

Bar 163 has been a feature of Egham for many years and it goes from strength to strength. The food was outstanding, good portions and great tasting dishes at good prices. The front of house manager was very attentive and the overall service excellent. The breakfast menu is superb and Bar163 is the best in Egham highly recommended, a breath of fresh air.
