Dilruba - Rugby

This used to be a classic Indian restaurant..we hadn't been there for a couple of years and was very disappointed to find it half the size (other bit now a barbers) , very light and modern with no atmosphere , cold inside , service average, barr poorly stocked and food distinctly average .. though to be fair poppadums and naans were very good. RIP Dilruba

The food was absolutely disgusting, the chicken tikka masala was a very strange colour and the texture was gross. Tasted a bit like Heinz tomato soup with a bit of curry powder. There was something wrong with every meal and they tried to charge us for side dishes as though they were a full meal. Will never return. I would have given no stars at all if that was possible.

The restaurant served delicious and flavorful food that was fresh and hot. I ordered the chicken curry and my partner ordered the chickpea curry since she is vegan.

The curry at this restaurant in Rugby, which was once the best in town, has steadily declined in quality over the past year. It is now very disappointing.

I highly recommend this restaurant. During our stay in Rugby, we tried several other restaurants in the area, but this one was definitely the best in terms of food and service. The flavors and quality of the food were outstanding, the presentation was fantastic, and the overall experience was excellent. If you're craving curry in Rugby, I can't recommend this place enough.
