Sal's Italian - Royal Palm Beach

This restaurant isn't bad, but I believe it has the potential to be something even better. The food was good, but it felt like it was missing that special touch. I realize that it’s unique, as there are only a few locations in this chain, but I can’t help but feel that it could have been improved.

After we placed our orders, it felt like we waited an eternity for our food, despite the restaurant being almost vacant. The iced tea was disappointing, prompting some of us to switch to lemonade instead. I ordered the soup and salad lunch special, which only offered Pasta e Fagioli as the soup option. I would have preferred more variety, but the soup itself was quite good. The salad was decent as well, but it lacked arugula, which, in my opinion, is a must-have in any Italian restaurant. The meal also came with garlic bread rolls, which many reviews noted as a highlight. While the bread was soft and tasty, the garlic and oil combination had an oddly unpleasant flavor that I can't quite describe. Overall, this was not my favorite experience by a long shot. Was it worth the money? I could have enjoyed a better meal at home. Goodbye!

We ordered 2 large pizzas, salad and garlic rolls. When we came home with the food, we realized that 1 of the pizzas had pineapples on it and we didn't order it at all. I checked the entrance to make sure the order was correct, no pineapple and it was. We live 25 minutes away from this place. We called that the pizza had been done wrong and they seemed like it wasn't a big deal. We drove all the way back with the wrong pizza to get the pizza we actually paid. You made us the right one, and then you told us we kept the coarse pizza we wanted? Really? How about a refund or something else we really like? Honestly, we will not visit this place again. You really need to work on customer service and realize how uncomfortable we were by there and back twice (not to mention the gas we was wasting).

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Last weekend I bought her seafood pasta and a Stromboli. My husband called and treated the most unfortunate incompetent employees. He had to repeat the order more than 3x to make it right and the prices were absurd. When he picked them up, all sides disappeared. That didn't surprise me. We decided to give them another shot this weekend and again another employee who speaks like a **** and could not get the order right. The order was a salad and a Stromboli. After repeating the order several times we called back and canceled the order immediately. Don't go here. If you call an order by yourself, you're not chasing away, your prices should be.
