Wahlburgers - Royal Oak

I ordered the Supermelt (which is essentially a patty melt on Texas toast) and the sweet potato tots. The burger was fantastic, with the combination of grilled onions and special sauce providing a perfect contrast to the cheese and burger. I took a chance on the tater tots as I wasn't sure if I would like them, but it turns out that slightly sweet tots are amazing. I tried dipping them in various sauces, but I found that they tasted best with just a sprinkle of salt. It was a pretty good meal for around $15, which actually ended up being two meals for me since I couldn't finish half of the burger and saved it for later.

I arrived at the restaurant around noon after almost a 30-minute drive, only to discover that they were only offering takeout and had a limited menu with just five items available. When I approached the counter to confirm the notice on the door, they turned up the music so loud that I couldn't communicate with the cashier. Frustrated, we decided to leave. Overall, very disappointed with the experience.

The food at Wahlburgers is decent, but the service leaves much to be desired. Despite enjoying the BBQ Bacon burger and double patty melt during previous visits, the experience has been inconsistent. On one occasion, there was a long wait for a shake due to staffing issues, and on another visit, the staff seemed uninterested in taking orders. During my last visit, I was met with indifference and decided to leave without placing an order. Although the food is good, the lack of attentive service may deter me from returning in the future.

The restaurant was nearly empty and felt unclean during our entire visit. The food was mediocre at best. The tater tot sampler was served cold, and my wife only ate half of her burger. I found nothing memorable about my meal, and even the fries were cold. It seemed like everything we ordered had been sitting around for a while before being served. Even the Mac and cheese we ordered for our child tasted terrible. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant. We visited on a Sunday around 1PM, and as we were leaving, we noticed three employees standing around doing nothing near an overflowing trash can right inside the door. This sight was representative of the disappointing experience we had. It's safe to say that Marky Mark would not approve of the state of his brand in this restaurant.

Literally the weirdest experience. My food is cold and I ordered a drink and then the worker forgot it and made it seem like I was getting a free drink . Also the worker made a rude comment under her when I tipped her when I didn 't have to tip her in the first place because they 're only open for carry out? Weird.
