This time, I ordered a large Matcha Brown Sugar Deerioca with Oat Milk, not realizing that boba was already included. My drink was ready in about five minutes. While I waited, I enjoyed listening to “Roller Coaster” by ChungHa from their playlist and couldn’t help but lip sync along. Aesthetically, the drink was very Instagrammable before shaking it or taking the first sip, so be sure to take some pictures beforehand! Honestly, I found the matcha flavor to be stronger than the brown sugar. I was hoping for a more balanced sweetness, but it didn’t feel overly sweet or make me bloated, which was a plus. After shaking it, I felt it still lacked a bit of sweetness. I’m not too disappointed, but I might try a different Deerioca drink or flavor next time. Don’t worry, I’ll definitely be back soon!

You need to choose the right drink that matches your taste. We really enjoy it, but some of our friends don’t like it at all. In our opinion, The Alley is better than Tiger Sugar.

A bit pricier than other bubble tea places, but definitely worth it for the flavor.
