Bidrage med feedbackOne of my favourite Chinese restaurants in US. Almost all the dishes are dilicious and the service is also excellent.
Food tastes decent we order their pork pan fried crispy noodle every wkd since we shop inda same plaza; flavor is great but portion of meat differs every single time other dishes that my colleagues like, in which i tried, r beef tomato over rice, sliced chicken w rice, pork preserved egg congee, sparerib rice in claypot im knockin a star off their cleanliness when dining in lack of attentiveness on waitstaff its y we usually order take-out
Came to this place after seeing the photos and reviews hyping up the beef stew, which is the spirit of Hk-style noodle soups. Tried it and was utterly disappointed. The hype is false and misleading; severe lack of flavor in the beef stew, portions were small and not the kind that makes sense because the flavor is rich, and the quality can't justify the price. Double thumbs down from this authentic HK food searcher.
Bf and I discovered this place on Yelp and have revisited several times. It is located inside the building towards the center rear. We have tried the house special beef brisket noodle soup, salted shredded chicken, poached chicken, beef bitter melon, beef chow fun, yang chow fried rice, Chinese broccoli with dried fish, fish w/black bean sauce, and crispy garlic ribs. Everything here tastes great, especially if you dine in. The waitresses are friendly. Note: they opt for single use utensils, plates/bowls and cups for dine in.
If you're looking for a quick and tasty meal for a reasonable price, you've found the spot! This place is by no means fancy, and it doesn't pretend to be. At first glance, the building it occupies looks abandoned, but don't let it fool you! Just head towards the back of building and you'll see the small gathering of tables. We ordered the shrimp wonton noodle soup, a beef chow fun, and a lo mein with braised beef brisket. Yes, the dishes come out on disposable plates/bowls, no it does not affect the taste of the dishes as they were all very tasty! I'm assuming the pandemic affected how they ran business, since I remember them having regular plastic dinnerware pre-pandemic. The portions were decent and we even had leftovers to box up for later. The shrimp wontons had a great texture, and the broth was deep in flavor. The beef chow fun was a little greasy, but still very good and a nice amount of beef. I'm not a lo mein fan, but I did try the braised beef and it was very tender. My dad finished the whole thing, so I'm going to say it was a hit. My only warning, that unassuming jar of chili crisp on the table? Use it sparingly! Or at the very least try it before adding so much to your dish that you're crying and sweating for the rest of the meal hahah.
