We enjoyed a wonderful last-minute getaway at the Bliss Cottage this past weekend. If you're looking to relax and unwind, this is the perfect spot. With 35 acres of hiking trails, opportunities for fishing, and adorable miniature horses, donkeys, and cows, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. Downtown Round Top is just a short drive away and offers fantastic shopping and dining options. However, you might not want to leave, thanks to the convenience of your own kitchen. The homemade breakfast each morning was a real treat; Sue truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. We will definitely be returning!

This was the most incredible farm retreat! We stayed in the barn, which was ideal for our family. Sue is an exceptional cook; she prepared delicious breakfasts for us every morning. We enjoyed feeding the mini horses and donkeys around the property, and we had a great time fishing too! We can't wait to return soon!

This place is truly a treasure—therapeutic and a must-visit. I wish I could live here, waking up every day in the most comfortable bed and starting my mornings with hot coffee and a delicious homemade breakfast. If you're bringing little ones, they will instantly connect with nature. The kids can explore the trails, feed the donkeys and ponies, fish in the pond for all kinds of fish, and enjoy the swings hanging from beautiful trees. Plus, there's always a cozy cottage waiting for you to relax and recharge. And what's the best way to end your day? How about a campfire beneath the sparkling stars in the night sky?

I highly recommend The Cottages. Sue is an exceptional host, and the homemade breakfast is incredible. The Bliss Cottage exudes charming old Southern vibes. My husband and I plan to return for a little getaway as often as we can.
