Urban Eat.drink - Round Rock

I'm always happy to eat here I've been here for many years. the food is delicious and it was my first time during Sunday brunch and it was delicious! I was surprised to play a live band that was great. my only small weight is that the noise level was super loud, which makes it difficult to conduct a conversation. in total still back . perhaps not too peak times.

The service is usually very good and today was different. However, the food was delicious.

First omelet that came out was cold in the center, the second omelet was tasteless. Overall the food was very average. Service was Ok.

Food was delicious as always except for the banana bread French toast, which was uncharacteristically dry. We will definitely be back!

From start to finish our meal was great. Our server was on point and when we said we needed a somewhat quick turnaround since we had to be somewhere in 1.5 hours, he said well there's a big party so if you know what you want I can get your order in ahead of them and you should be good. He was true to his word and the food came out incredibly fast. I tried two drinks and liked both though one was a little sweet. The lobster appetizer was incredible. Giant chunks of lobster lightly fried with a terrific spicy sauce. My husband had the BBQ burger and said it was amazing. I had the Texas caesar salad and it was good too- lightly tossed in dressing that had a bit of kick and lots of extras mixed into the well-chopped lettuce. Nothing worse than giant pieces of lettuce. We tried the RR donut strata for dessert and the bourbon sauce was the highlight! It got very crowded at 7p so we were glad we got in a little ahead of that rush. The ambience is sort of minimalist possibly trying to be modern, but when we first got there and there were fewer people, it was too plain. Like basic walls with grey acoustic fabric stretched on a frame hung on the walls- no art, no color. When it filled up with people they added color and a better vibe but any art at all would be welcome, especially when the place is less crowded. We will definitely be back again, and make sure we can really take our time enjoying ourselves. Maybe when the outdoor patio is more pleasant (it was too cold for me to sit outside! and enjoy people watching.
