Phonatic - Round Rock

This restaurant has a fantastic fast food vibe and serves generous portions of fresh, delicious food. All the vegetables were crisp, and the marinated meats were incredibly flavorful, all at a very reasonable price. The person taking our order was friendly and personable. I would give it a full 5 stars, but I noticed that the condiment bottles didn't look very sanitary. They were all clustered near the soda area and appeared sticky, with the openings gummed up. Plus, they weren’t full, which made me question how long the contents had been sitting there. That’s an area that could use some improvement. I understand that staffing can be a challenge, but overall, the food and service were excellent! The restaurant tables were also kept tidy.

Haley was the kindest and most knowledgeable staff member. She welcomed my daughter and me warmly and took the time to carefully explain the menu items since it was our first visit. The vegetarian pho was delicious, and the portion size was excellent for the price.

This is one of the best places I've ever been for Vietnamese food! I was impressed by the quick service, and the restaurant has plenty of seating. The prices are excellent, and the portions are generous. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

Just only a few things that would have made the meal perfect! I don’t usually mind the self service restaurant. I tipped 20% and I don’t regret that. The two guys at the cashier were kind of nice. All the food tasted good, that I can tell they have good recipes. The way they prepped could be better. The egg rolls were a little cold (not hot or crispy). The small rice noodle in my hot soup bowl was not fresh steamed like it’d been sitting in the air for a while before pouring the soup over it. Thai iced tea, a little water down, just a little. My fried eggs had some eggshell in it that I had to spit out twice. All these small details that I think the owner would take it in consideration in the prep process. Otherwise, I think it would have been a good place to have an easy meal! I will come back and check them out again. It was not a bad experience overall!

I'm pretty picky especially with foods I've never tried. This was so delicious and fresh! Service was great and the fountain drinks were even good. Will definitely go again
