Lucky's Grill - Round Rock

Food was WAYYYY too salty, place was dirty and bartender didn't care to effectively serve people who weren't at the bar. There were no more than 10 people present when we stopped in. Speaking as a Chicago native, the Italian beef and chili cheese fries were nearly inedible. Hotdog bun was either stale or seared for too long which means they're not steaming them like a true Chicago dog. Hotdog was also unusually small. Multiple tables hadn't been wiped down and the womens toilet had pink and black in the bowl. Bartender had also been eating her own meal at the bar when we waited for food that took way too long to reach our table. Don't come here wasn't welcoming and just by asking for food we were made to feel awkward.

Ok, been going to this place for years with various owners. Some owners were better than others ...Today I stopped in for a chili cheese dog. The dog was pretty decent, but the cheese was not melted. The bartender told me I could have onion rings instead of fries, which I appreciated.That was the good news....When I walked in I asked for a menu. No problem scanning the QR code but it took me to a third party app I would have to install??? WTH?I did notice that their website had a stale domain, so there was no online menu other than this bogus App. I'm not sure how they plan on making money other than selling alcohol. That may work out since there were several day drinkers having fun. I saw a guy walk in and couldn't figure out how to order and then walk out.The tables had not been cleaned since last night.The whole deal seemed like a new owner that really didn't know how to run a business. Hope they figure it out soon...

The three fat men that work there have the nastiest attitudes. They all look miserable. I was there this morning, and the lazy bartender kept complaining about how busy it was, and how he didn't want to be there. I will never give these people another dime of my money.

Wow, been going here since the place opened, and the original owners would be saddened of what it has become. To call yourself a Chicago food eatery, you absolutely have to have a decent italian beef sandwich. Mine today was the worst I have had in my life. Wayyyyy too much salt, really bad seasoning, and a bun they probably picked up at walmart made for an extremely poor experience. Soggy, salty fries just made me feel ripped off. My suggestion, get someone that knows what these items are supposed to taste like give you some feedback...not the guys ogling at your bartender

The food is so good. I’ve tried the Sante Fe burger, Italian beef, the Chicago style hot dog and more. The hot dog is the real deal. Everything is well seasoned. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!
