Well what can I say, this restaurant is absolutely fabulous we couldn't find anything to to complain or koan about. The food is outstanding, the strawberry panacotta is the best I have ever had, delicious. Veronique and her team are lovely, they made us feel extremely welcome are French is poor we felt very comfortable being there, they are so helpful. We would highly recommend going here we hopefully will return one day. Thank you Veronique and team

Another fabulous lunch on Sunday. The Crevettes salad entree was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Could have eaten it twice! A seriously good crème brûlée too! Wonderful service as usual thank you Veronique and your team!

We were a party of five adults and two children, and the reservation was made online, with Mme Veronique DeAbeu replying very promptly. At the restaurant she greeted us warmly and we were seated at a table outside in a large peaceful courtyard. The waiter service was attentive and very friendly. The menu was short but very varied and for the fixed price of €39 we had three courses. As an amuse bûche we had black olive tapenade. We can thoroughly recommend the duck pâté, the brochettes of beef, the entrecôte steak, and the amazing langoustine stuffed rabbit. All the meals were served with vegetables or frites. The desserts we had were ice cream (children tiramisu, crème brûlée and apricots with a Speculoos crumble. We finished with an excellent coffee and liqueur (Seve? . The quality of the restaurant shines, and on a Saturday night, it was full with French customers. The decor is simple but modern and there is no unnecessary music in the background. We had a bottle of Châteauneuf du Pape and several rounds of non- alcoholic colas. For seven people, plus wine, drinks, coffee and liqueurs, the bill was under €400. Madame De Abeu also speaks English. We had a wonderful evening and we shall be returning.

We have decided to make a gourmet pose, we have not been disappointed, the welcome is warm, the proposals allow everyone to find an interest in this map, the dishes are perfectly executed and beautifully present, we have spent a good time and we will renew experience at a next time in this beautiful Charentais country

Nice surprise! a stop almost random on the holiday route with the children! excellent reception with a lot of benevolence and intelligence, delicious dishes, discreet and reactive service we strongly recommend this address and emphasize the kindness of the guests!
