De France - Roubaix

Not only is this a perfect location, but also friendly, safe and welcoming. The food was really good also. Needing time to kill between afternoon and evening, they effortlessly made me feel comfortable and free to spend my time even a busy group in the evening didn't throw them off their stride. Massively recommend

Having had a great meal the previous night at another local place, we decided not to go back to it but to chance somewhere else on our last night of a short break. We were not disappointed. We didn 't book but there were only about 5 tables free at 7:30. Lead to the table (that the we chose! by the young but super efficient waiter. Menu pretty wide and gave us well enough thought to spend too long choosing. The starters we both chose were great (crevette salmon and we both had the fabulous beef flamande a bowl of super tender, slow cooked lean beef. Great! Especially nice with the fries!! The beer of the month was brilliant, and the bottle of red Bordeaux was reasonably priced and very good. Would go back again without doubt. (And they had an orchid on the counter which was obscenely healthy! damn them

A board. A good beer or a cocktail. So nice.

The estaminet way restaurant is top, the welsh is delicious!!
