If you can find a parking spot do drop in for a bite to eat, or just a coffee perhaps. You will be well received by a pleasant waitress and a good menu for a cafe and at reasonable prices. I had an all day...breakfast and my wife a pancetta, with a coffee. The cafe was busy at lunchtime, mainly with senior citizens, occupying about tables. Cosy but good

I recently visited this restaurant with my family and was disappointed by the experience. There were a lot of flies in the cafe and many items on the menu were out of stock. While the staff weren't necessarily rude, they were a bit untidy and sloppy in their dress code. The atmosphere was lacking energy and the food was mediocre at best. To make matters worse, they served us a dish that we didn't even order. Overall, I was unimpressed and would not return to this restaurant.

Nice local place, yummy looking products, decent coffee and the lunches looked good. My husband adores their Eccles cakes. It’s a little but dated, but the price reflects this and to be honest it’s quite homely and welcoming.

I used to visit this small cafe frequently for their roast dinners, but recently it hasn't been meeting the usual standards. The vegetables were overcooked and often served lukewarm, and instead of roast potatoes, I was given boiled potatoes with the skins on. It was not very appetizing to look at, and a roast dinner just isn't the same without the potatoes. I am disappointed as this used to be one of the few places where I could count on a delicious, homemade meal at a reasonable price. It's a shame.

We had a dinner delivered to our home, which was chilled and ready to be warmed later. Alternatively, you can request the meals to be delivered hot if you want to eat them immediately. The portions on the plates were generous, including mash, peas, cabbage, carrots, mashed swede, and a steak pie. The menu offered a good variety of food options. Additionally, you can dine in the cafe for lunches, tea cakes, and more. The lady who delivered the meal was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be ordering from here again, and there is no delivery fee. The prices are very reasonable for homemade food.
