Bidrage med feedbackTo visit such a scenic little tea shop, good selection of cakes and large space to sit at the fire and take into the decoration. friendly staff and dog friendly. only the bottom is on the small side, so will probably be busy at the height of the season, but we loved it
8 of us went to the breakfast on Sunday morning. what a Jewel. the atmosphere, service and eating were all excellent. recommend the English breakfast with dads army sausage and finished with a beautiful mouth, the fresh peone with jam and sawn watered. they also love the tea with fresh leaves and served in china tassen. worth a visit, just before the abbey.
We spent time visiting the teestuben in battle, and the lavender tea room was the most friendly and quintessentially british. they take care of those of us who are gluten-free and milk-free, which is a big plus. her log burner was a great advantage on Saturday when it snowed. in any case worth a visit as we found it in battle. it is very close to the abbey. gilly
They will have a wonderful couple of hours in lavendar abbey tea rooms sat before the fire in comfi chairs with friends and the owner nattering. Made to feel so welcome, it had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious eating with tempting cakes that we could not resist! go and pay them a visit, you will be glad that you did it.
Trust me when I say I have tried many scones around England. The ones at this place are the best compared to many I have tried around the country. My raisin scone was perfect in every way, was fresh from the oven and warm, juicy, tasty, with delicious clotted cream and jam. To die for. Tea sizing was great and not small like in some cafes, perfect for washing down the beautiful scone goodness. The sad thing is that my scone experience here made everything else in Battle seem rather ordinary!
