Very friendly lady who answers the phone , always happy to ask chef if there is something we fancy that isnt on the menu and they always make it for us. Food is always excellent

Phoned an order through to collect and it was all ready at the agreed time and hot. I saw some reviewers commented on it being worth a 15 minute drive I agree.

This was my first time ordering from The Golden Palace and it definitely won't be my last. This Chinese takeout restaurant is a hidden gem, offering all the classic dishes along with some unique options. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. I ordered a set menu for 3 people and it could have easily fed 4, if not 5 adults. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they also offer a home delivery service. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but the drive is definitely worth it.

We appreciate how busy they are at the Golden Palace, so a 20 minute drive each way to collect our takeaway is well worth it. The service is always polite and helpful, family run so understand your needs, especially dietary. Then the food is freshly cooked so again it's well worth waiting for freshly cooked food to be prepared. The cost is definitely value for what you are getting, beautifully cooked Chinese food. Thank you Golden Palace highly recommended if you haven't yet, you must try them out.

Nice friendly lady on the desk chicken sweet and sour balls looked and tasted more like chicken nuggets from mcdonalds the rest TASTLESS and plain wont order again
