We were early 7pm , no one else there, that's OK, waiter had no English, still ok, he was very nice, I looked up my English Spanish translation on Google and somehow told him that I wanted my steak very well cooked and that's how I got it. Anyway, we had 3 tapas selection, roasted peppers, potato garlic, and squid and they were lovely and 2 euro each. Bread was served and it was 1.50 euro,,,great value. Then I had my steak served with few chips and wee bit of mixed veg but was sufficient and my hubby had sole which he said was the business. We had bottle Papa Vegas. .. white wine at 12 euro. We got complimentany liquors. Total bill 51.60 euro. Lovely restaurant, no fancy tablecloths or anything but we liked it and would return because it was authentic. Try it,
Is this restaurant still operating? Wanted to doing there last night but it was not open. No signs indicating hours of operation. Looked like still a viable business but not sure.
This is more of a place where the upper middle class locals go to eat. The food is excellent, the staff friendly and I believe they are all related. It's a family place but have some of the best sangria in Cadiz. Its not a place to go if you're dressed for the beach but its not overly formal either
