Food and beverage menu is meh. Expensive for barely average food. Service was slow even though the restaurant was not busy. Outdoor dining area is pretty, but I would not return. There are so many other options in the area to chose before Osteria Mattone. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Daniel, My wife and I have been enjoying Osteria since you opened and it has always been our go to place for special occasions. Last night we came to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. However, while the service was good, our dinner was not. The chicken picatta seemed to be kept warm under a broiler or salamander, burnt, very dry and without pasta. Your Bolenaise, my wife's favorite, was not seasoned and the ragu was very thin and seemed to be rushed and not simmered. Not the thick and rich dish we had previously enjoyed. Again, we have enjoyed Osteria and your hospitality for many years and will likely be returning. Hopefully, to enjoy another great experience as we have come to expect.
