Hook Reel Cajun Seafood - Rossville

Went there for the first time this week and Oh. My. Gosh. The food was SO good and flavorful. We got 3 boils, a Cod, Crab cakes, and chicken tenders along with too many appetizers. The food was absolutely perfect, full of spices (not heat unless you want heat) and the seafood was fresh. It 's going to become our regular spot!Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu full of normal kids food but we ended up ordering an adult entree for my 5 year old because he wanted fish. Wish they had crayons for the activity on their menus.

I arrived with a companion for a table for two and had to wait five minutes for one to be prepared, even though most of the tables were empty. Once we were finally seated, we waited nearly 30 minutes for someone to come by and take our drink order. We informed the waitress that we would like to order both our food and drinks at once, but she simply called to someone else and walked away. The person she called never came over to take our order, and by now, it was 9:05 PM—our reservation was at 8:40 PM. The restaurant wasn’t busy enough to justify such a long wait, and we weren’t the only table left waiting; we didn’t even have utensils provided. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

I Don’t remember my servers name but he is always amazing whenever we go there. He’s energetic and they always have him working the entire lobby !The food is pretty good too ! You get the bang for your buck and will still be able to eat pretty decent seafood boils.

This restaurant is fantastic, reminiscent of Red Crab Juicy Seafood, especially with their seafood boils. Both the food and the service were excellent.

I visited for the first time today with my son, and we had an amazing experience. Our waiter, Draven, provided outstanding service—he was friendly, patient, and attentive, checking on us frequently. The food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be returning!
