Whitworth Chippy - Rossendale

The dining experience was pleasant despite the fact that I was not the only customer. The sole lady working there was overwhelmed with the crowd. She was very apologetic for the wait, and I sympathized with her. The food was good, typical of what you would expect from a chip shop. Perhaps in the future, they should consider having additional staff to assist her.

I tried the fish sauce at this restaurant and found it to be delicious. The fish was fresh and the batter was crispy and slightly greasy, just as expected. The fries were a generous portion, perfectly cut with a crispy skin and fluffy interior. The English curry sauce paired well with the fish and chips. The price was also very reasonable.

I first visited this chip shop 36 years ago and continued to go regularly for many years until recently revisiting. The food is superb, with a traditional taste of fish and chips that brings back memories. The interior is magnificent, very clean and tidy, with top-notch food hygiene. The staff are friendly and polite, always willing to help. The quality of the food has not changed at all, it is still excellent. I highly recommend Whitworth Chippy to anyone looking for a delicious meal. 10/10.

Dont know why I havnt been here sooner, been twice now and really enjoyed, lovely crisp batter and white fish, had fish chips and curry this week and it was soooo good.
