Goodness, I don 't typically give 1 star reviews. We were staying locally and headed out for dinner. Smoke on the Ohio was 1 of just a handful of places nearby. From the moment we opened the we felt very much like outsiders. Have you ever watched a movie that showed a scene of outsiders entering a restaurant? You know, when all the customers stop and stare? That happened to us. I thought, no biggie, we are outsiders. We made our way to the counter and waited to be seated. After 15 minutes with no greeting or being sat we left. There were 3 tables out of a dozen or so filled, not sure what the reason for the lack of service was. We decided to go across the street to the grocery store and had THE BEST steaks ever and enjoyed them in the comfort of our vacation home. Maybe you 'll have better luck. Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!

I eat here often throughout the month for lunch. Their cheese balls w/ Ranch are amazing, my Favorite. Everything I've ever ordered from there has been delicious. Some of the service is bad just depends on the waitress that's there. There's usually only 1 waitress 1 cook so take it easy of the rude comments about the workers. They're doing the best they can. I even had 1 waitress go back to help the cook so I could get my to-go order for lunch faster. Small hometown venue. Overall, I recommend this place as I said I eat there often for lunch.
