Bulldog Ale House - Roselle

I visited this restaurant one night with friends and had a disappointing experience. We waited 45 minutes for a table, and when one finally became available, we were told that we needed to go to the bar to find some ranch dressing ourselves. The staff seemed uninterested and unfriendly. Overall, it was not a great experience, and I don't plan to return.

I visited this restaurant for the second time today, and it was even worse than the first. During my first visit, I sat next to the bar and ordered a couple of drinks along with some crispy appetizers. It took half an hour for my food to arrive, and it was cold, as if it had just come out of the freezer. Today, I returned only because it's nearby. The place was nearly empty with only 1-2 patrons and 5-6 staff members. I again sat at the bar and waited for someone to take my order. All the staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to customers. After 15 minutes, someone finally came over. When I ordered my drink, it had an overwhelming soda taste and nothing else. I was extremely disappointed and asked for the bill. They brought it right away, but then another employee approached me and asked, “Sir, what can I get for you today? I was busy working, so I couldn’t help you!” I really think there should be a different rating scale for this kind of service.

I’ve had great experiences there before, so I thought it would be a perfect spot for lunch. Unfortunately, today the restaurant was nearly empty, and our server, Amy, didn’t check on us for 20 minutes. We ordered our drinks and some appetizers, but the appetizers arrived before the drinks. We waited 25 minutes for a mimosa and to finish our beer order. When I asked for the bill, I noticed the beer we never received was included. This was the worst experience I've ever had at this restaurant, and I’m extremely disappointed.

Every single person we interacted with was an absolute gem! They let us know they were short staffed before hand but even so, we were really well taken care of. The wings were awesome and the drinks were *chef's kiss* delicious.
