Cooper Ridge Vineyard - Roseburg

What a beautiful place! Very inviting inside and out. Outside are tables with umbrellas to shield you from the sun. The deck overlooks the vineyards and the mountains in the distance. When we arrived on a Thursday afternoon in September, we were greetedand served promptly. There were only a couple of other tables occupied. We enjoyed most of the wines and in particular the Roseand Pinot Noir which we bought. It would be nice if they waived the tasting fee when you purchased a couple bottles. All in all,an enjoyable way to spend an hour or two! Update to my original review: I went back and looked at my receipt and we did receivea 10% discount. Thanks to the owner for pointing that out!

My family visited Oregon for the month of April and the RV park we stayed at gave us a free wine tasting voucher for Cooper Ridge Vineyard. I left the kids with my husband and went out to see what kind of wine they had and hopefully buy a bottle toremember Oregon by. I arrived and immediately felt out of place and unwelcome. The older gentleman serving the wine made noeffort to have a conversation with me or recommend a wine that I might like. After finishing the tasting (with gorgeous viewsout on the patio! I went in to see if there were any dessert wines I could purchase, but wasn't even acknowledged as I enteredback into the building so I left without purchasing anything sadly. Beautiful facility and location but their customer servicewas lacking.

I would rate this restaurant around 3.5 to 4 stars. While the wine selection may not appeal to connoisseurs, it still offers a delightful and friendly experience. The Merlot and Tempranillo stand out as the best options. Overall, we had a wonderful time as a group.

We recently visited a friend's home in Roseburg, where we were treated to a truly delicious wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it, especially since we have a taste for hearty flavors typical of California wines. As a result, we decided to make a trip to the winery for a complete tasting experience, and we were not disappointed—everything was excellent! By the way, it was incredibly hot that day, around 100 degrees! Although the heat was intense, we chose to sit outside to take in the beautiful valley view. We definitely plan to return.

The tasting area is lovely, but I found the wines to be less intriguing compared to other vineyards in the area, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I wish I could rate it 4.5. The small glasses they use are charming, but I think they might limit the wines' presentation a bit. On the positive side, they offer a good variety of wines, an amazing cheese plate, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff is very friendly!
