Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped for lunch and shared the great Greek salate. it came with warm flat brot and both were delicious. the building was surrounded in the old city by a lot of shops. the interior of the building had an open atmosphere with a high tin ceiling. the waitress was attentive and the price was appropriate.
This restaurant in the heart of Roseburg is a hidden gem. Mike and his team serve authentic Greek dishes with a level of pride you would expect from the best family-run restaurants. I had a wonderful time on a date night with my lovely daughter, Bethany. Thank you so much, Mike and Evie!
I am not sure what special preparation process or love they put into their food before serving, but it certainly shows. My girlfriend took me for my first authentic Greek dining experience, and we have now decided that this is our go-to lunch spot. Despite not being fans of sweets, we couldn't resist getting their raspberry cheesecake to go (you will never leave this place hungry, be prepared to take food home). When we arrived home, we initially intended to just have a bite or two of the cheesecake, but before we knew it, it was completely gone. The lamb dish was unlike anything I have ever tasted before. In addition to the amazing food, we were impressed by the kind, attentive, and knowledgeable waitress who took care of us. She was a delight to interact with, and we can't wait to come back and see her again soon, even though we can't remember her name.
This is a gluten free review. Gluten free menu: No, but GF items clearly marked What I ordered: Combo dip plate (hummus, tzatziki, eggplant dip, w/ GF pita bread), chicken gyro with fries, chocolate torte Gluten free options: A solid selection of gluten free options on the menu. They definitely go out of their way to accommodate. The gluten free pita was soft and packed with delicious herbs. The chocolate torte was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Good thing this place isn’t too close to home or I would be in trouble... Food: Food was hot and fresh, seasoned well. French fries were thin and crispy. They tasted like McDonalds fries. Portions were large. They don’t skimp out on anything. Service: Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was always on top of refills. Food did take a while longer than expected to deliver, even though the restaurant was only about half full. Location: Ample street parking. Restaurant is easy to find. Ambiance: Comfortable atmosphere. I like the enlarged photos of Greece. If you sit by one of them, you feel like you’re having a meal there! restrooms available. Very clean! Overall score:
Beautiful atmosphere, good food and good service. determined to taste a little different to order the traditional lamb gyro and it was delicious. all the ingredients were beautiful and fresh and the aromen were exactly what they would expect for Greek cuisine. if you like Greek eating or just want to try something else, this is a solid option.
