The National Famine Museum, Strokestown Park

Very interesting and well presented and a nice cafe too!

Great museum and lovely tour of house with a very informative and knowledgeable tour guide. Didnt get time to explore grounds such a pity upper floors are not wheelchair accessible however house doesnt lend itself to installing same due to historical structure. Excellent cafe with lovely accommodating staff. Great soup and toasted sandwichs.

Great day trip, including the Famine Museum, a tour of Stokestown Manor House, and nature walk. Nice cafe and bookstore. Well worth the visit if you are in the area.

Lovely walk staff very friendly the cafe is a bit expansive one sausage Roll was almost 5 euros
