Supermac's - Roscommon

Called in for a quick bite after 8pm on a trip around North Mayo. (Didn't realise that there was another Supermacs else where in town) Staff were helpful, good was freshly cooked and tasted as good as any Supermacs. We had smoky bacon burgers, chips and tub of chicken curry. The only reason for drop of a point is because, even though we were the only customers alongside another customer, all tables I attempted to sit at were either dirty or filthy. Floor looked like it hadn't been brushed the whole day. Very unhygienic.

Great customer serive with a smile. Satisfaction guaranteed. Food was excellent. Restaurant very clean and staff were very pleasent and polite. I would recommend this Restaurant to everyone.

I purchased a couple of ice creams for my kids at this restaurant. However, I ended up throwing them in the trash on my way out because a young employee had been handling the treats with his bare, unwashed hands, long fingernails, and no gloves. This unsanitary practice is unacceptable in today's time, especially with the prevalence of viruses and sicknesses. It was a disgraceful experience and I regret spending ten euros on something that ended up in the bin. I would have been better off donating that money to a rescue organization like Moy.

We were there yesterday. We ordered our food and then saw THREE members of staff touching the food with their bare hands. We made a complaint and requested our money back. We were given a refund straight away. But even the manager who gave us the refund, used his gloved hand that he had just been using to make food with to handle the till and the money he gave me back. AVOID this place.

I have been a loyal fan of Supermacs for quite some time, but I was very let down by my meal today. The cod and chips I ordered was mostly batter that was undercooked, as shown in the photo. It had the smallest amount of actual fish I have ever seen. Overall, it was a poor experience.
