Bidrage med feedbackThe food is to die for-it was so good my husband and I booked a cooking class with this restaurant later in the week. Best food we had while there. Lots of people are complaining about the customer service, but remember that a lot of the staff do not speak English, they aren't trying to be disrespectful, they are locals that live high up away from the Positano city center. You are going there for a different experience away from the touristy places so therefore the service may be different from what you expect. Our first time at Il Ritrovo it was a busy evening. The shuttle picked us up and when we arrived we waited 10 minutes to be seated. Not a big deal, that is normal in most restaurants. Once seated all was fine, and the server apologized for the wait, explaining that they are short staffed after the pandemic it is hard to find workers like anywhere else. People need to be more understanding given that this is the situation everywhere right now. Cooking class is a MUST!!! Chef Salavatore and his aunt were so kind, made the experience so enjoyable and interesting! We stayed for five hours to cook, drink lots of wine and eat the five courses we created after on the terrace. They also give you a printed copy of the recipes. Seriously book this experience you will not be disappointed!

Trip in polystena I came through this restaurant near a tamoil petrol pump, the restaurant is located in the state road that climbs the overpass after the highway. has a very large and guarded parking lot. entering the restaurant that you have in front of glasses full of typical Calabrian products categorized with pasta, nduja vases and peppers, meat and to finish with black cherry and biscuits (I recommend biscuits to almonds). The waiters are very kind and courteous. the digital menu, phenomenal; we are inside and the technologies are progressing faster and faster, the idea of putting a menu that scans with the mobile phone is an improvement that simplifies both the decision that the customer takes that the waiter who takes the order. I ate a good sea appetizer and a first risotto fish with shrimp and zucchini that I highly recommend trying for quality.
