Yu Garden Chinese - Ros Comain

High quality Chinese buffet. A la carte menu also available. I found the food excellent. Although we had the buffet, the quality of the food was excellent. The shells were small, so they often had to be refilled. That meant eating was very fresh. I'm definitely back. The waiting staff was super friendly. I always love going back.

An oriental jewel hidden in Strokestown, Roscommon. With everything you eat delicious Chinese buffet to €13,60 a head and a very friendly and welcoming host, we could not resist the temptation to try it. We are pleased to try some of the foods on the buffet and we were not disappointed. Satay Chicken, Chilli Chicken, Ribs, Chowmein, Spring Rolls, Veg and Fried Rice. I'm telling you to die the Cantonese Duck! Do not let yourself be fooled by the exterior of this building when you look into it, as the remnant is hidden from sight and is on the back. The room itself is beautiful and relaxing with oriental influence in its decor. There is a beautiful aquarium of Koi fish to see how you enjoy your food and staff are attentive and friendly. I appreciate five stars for Yu Garden based on the €13.60 buffet and bundled with decor, food selection, quality, presentation and taste. I am not sure that this can be beaten for value and overall experience if you are looking for a Chinese meal in Roscommon. We will certainly be back!!! Tracy #primitmachine

This Asian restaurant is family run by owners who have raised their children in the area and have been a big part of the community for years. They make a real effort to get to know their customers by name and cater for personal tastes to the best of their ability. This friendly approach attracts people back along with the comfortable ambiance of the restaurant. It's hard not to fall in love with the large fish tank filled with koi. They provide an all you can eat buffet Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a scoop of icecream for dessert to cool down your overindulged tums. The best time to arrive for the adult €12.70 buffet is around 6pm, as the restaurant quickly packs out. Be aware that while Yu Garden has late opening hours, the buffet finishes at 9:30pm. Over the years we've had plenty of parties here. We just love coming back time and time again. We travel 78km to dine as there really is no better Asian restaurant with an amazingly well priced buffet.

Absolutely delicious food. Read the reviews but was still a little sceptic when arrived, as you go in a side door to behind the take away. But... we were not disappointed. Plentiful portions with really nice fresh ingredients and excellent flavour. Definitely one of the best we've had. If we lived nearer we would be ordering takeaway weekly! Diane and her staff were also extremely welcoming and pleasant. Thank you so much for an excellent meal. We will come back to visit you soon
