Orchard Grove Inn - Romulus

Absolutely fantastic! We adore the cash and the shrimp... but what stands out the most is the incredible service! Mona, Ed, and their daughters run this place with the warmth of a family. We've been there countless times, and I can honestly say we’ve never had a bad meal or poor service. Five stars all the way!

Although it’s an older establishment, it’s quite popular with locals and also attracts some business travelers. Just a heads-up: they close at 9:00 PM, so be sure to plan accordingly if you’re thinking of a late dinner. The menu features traditional American fare, with an impressive selection of fried and broiled seafood, as well as grilled chicken and steaks, all accompanied by fries or potatoes (note: there are no vegetable options). Their cash (likely referring to a specific dish or preparation) is particularly famous, and I have to agree it's among the best I've had. Some previous diners have raved about the white fish, but it wasn’t available during my visit. I’ll definitely be back next time to give that a try!

This restaurant offers incredible food and a warm atmosphere where everyone feels like family and treats you as one too! The grilled white fish is the best I've ever tasted. Their French onion soup and desserts are also excellent. You can tell that everything is authentic and made from scratch, using high-quality ingredients without any shortcuts. I highly recommend dining here!

This place is truly a hidden gem just as they describe themselves! This food is outstanding, the drinks are so delicious (inexpensive compared to other restaurants I go to) and the service is great! They are working to update the decor and struggling to find employees, but I am not impatient and it was totally worth it! Very personable and friendly owners, will definitely be back!

So sad they will be closing at the end of this month! 36 years plus! Such an amazing atmosphere that you can't recreate or buy! No matter the money. Absolutely stunning good food, great people and best places ever! Again so sad they are closing, and new place will be here but so glad was there towards the end!
