All-star Diner - Romeoville

This place it’s a rip off …… if you don’t pay attention or ask for receipt this people will steal. Worst customer service ever. The white lady in the register so rude she say she don’t care it’s not her restaurant. She charge me 2 hot dogs and fries all separately just because I didn’t want the soda the price was the same as the meal actually more without a soda. She didn’t tell me this was going to be more expensive and when I ask she said she don’t make the prices . Very disappointed.

This is my first time eating here since it was under another name. I figured I’d give it a try. What a mistake. I had the Gyro, onion rings and mozzarella sticks. I ordered it to go home. I put the paper bag it was packaged in on my front seat for the 7 min drive home. When I picked up the bag from my seat, it was literally dripping with grease as if something spilled inside. My car seat is soaked with fryer grease. The bag was completely wet as if it had been soaked in water. I’m going to have to have my seat steam cleaned to get the grease out. The food was horrible in every sense of the word. Everything including the pita bread was soaked in grease. It was if they took a ladle of grease and spread it all over the food. Gyro was horribly bland and made me sick after a few bites. First and last time ever at this dump.

Food is fine, portions are good, quality is above average. BUT, the employees in that restaurant do not like to wear their masks. I get it! They are uncomfortable and may not even help, but if they have a lack of follow through with the masks, it makes you wonder what other short cuts in sanitation they may be taking. You have to believe in the food safety of an establishment especially with what is going on now.

Was headed to Subway and stumbled upon this place. The cashier was very friendly and my food was prepared quickly and fresh. Ordered two gyros and cheese fries which were delicious. Serving size was also good, filled us up (me and my fiance). I also loved the smell walking into this place. It smelled like good food.

Love this place! The food is always fresh and delicious and never wait long. The girl up front with the pink hair was so pleasant and helpful : and her cheerful personality made the visit more welcoming. Keep up the good work
