Pomore' - Rome

We only had scheduled one day in Rome and after a sleepless flight (family traveling with 2 children aged 11 and 7), challenges with a phone SIM cards, the heat, and also...did I mention a sleepless flight...we had visited only the Trevi Fountain minutes after our kids fell asleep in their plates, then took a (hard found) taxi to our apartment for the night. We had hoped to see the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps and other items on our agenda...instead, after a nap, we decided just to explore the neighborhood and that’s when we found Pomore. We used our best Italian (which isn’t saying much) but we could tell that this was not a tourist spot, but a local’s favorite. From the house wine to the fried vegetables to all our entrees (pizzas and pasta) and dessert...it was spectacular! The service was incredible and we walked away feeling that Pomore and that meal single handedly redeemed our hard day in Rome.

Pomorè has fantastic homemade pizzas and an excellent service (both take-away and in the restaurant)! The appetizers are great but not excellent. Would recommend the olive ascolane to open your appetite! As for the pizzas choose any of them and you'll not be disappointed, both Roman and Neapolitan style

Best Restaurant in Rome! Delicious Napolitanian Pizza! Super fast, beautiful and charming Waitresses . You are welcomed with a free Prossecco, the menue is classical Italian food with a good variety of fish, meat and veggies and of course the Pizza! The best part is to order a Napolitanian and next to it a Roman Pizza (i tried most of the menue and is all phantastic :

Ottima pizza su una grande pasta. ottimo servizio, cordiale e gentile, nella sua semplicità. ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. per una serata in semplice semplicità tra gli amici è senza dubbio un posto da consigliare.

We had done a reservation in the evening and agreed a menus upfront. We received a very friendly welcome, fast and friendly service and very good food at reasonable prices. For us as the accompanying adults very positive was also the very good menue of local and international beers. We can definitely recommend it for groups and of course also for all other dining occasion.
