1st time here craving Beignets and creole food. This place went above and beyond my expectations. Food is delicious!!!! Plus the owner is SUPER nice!

First experience here this evening. 2 gumbos, a shrimp po boy, and a chicken and waffle…everyone left happy and stuffed! Teran provided fantastic service and recommendations. We’ll be back to explore more of the menu for sure! Thank you!

I really liked the quality of food, the setting, and my experience eating at 1488. I have been in the area and passed it many times and hate that I only now that I've discovered this gem. The honey sriracha chicken sandwich was really good as were the fries. Cat fish was tasty as well highly recommended if you're craving some fried catfish. Waitress also waited perfectly timed to make our beignets so they came out super fresh. Great experience worth the try!
