Harvest Market Woodforest

Harvest Market has organic items in stock at reasonable prices. I buy all my fresh meat from here. The ground sirloin, ribeye steak and my favorite, the beef tenderloin, never disappoints. If you like to grab sushi on the go, I can highly recommend the fresh sushi counter near the vegetable section.

I remember there were many international products at the Harvest market in its old location. Hoping to find similar items, I traveled for 40 minutes to get here. However, I was disappointed to find only one international aisle, and almost everything there was noodles(? . Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything I was looking for.

Kelly in the Prepared Foods was great. Very nice person who was beyond helpful everything very fresh and high quality.

Driving by, I thought finally a nice high end grocery store in our area! I was thinking of something along the lines of Fresh Market in the Southeast.For the most part, the items in the store were typical items you would find in a Kroger or other mainline grocery store. Nothing special. I was looking at the shrimp and asked the seafood guy behind the counter if is was fresh and he said yes . Then I asked him if it was previously frozen, and he said yes . So, which was it?The place was very clean and free of the usual clutter found in the larger chains but overall unimpressive.

Called and asked in advance about an item and employee was too busy talking to her friends to actually look for the item. Came in and they didn’t have the item and acted like I didn’t call 15 minutes prior and were too busy talking to each other to acknowledge me. Sat and waited for them to end their conversation.
