Spice And Wine Bistro - Roma

This is a tourist trap type of restaurant I can’t imagine how it’s still in business, you definitely will not see any locals here and the tourist that do come here and sure to never return. Just a horrible experience

Great drinks and excellent service from Giorgio! Very nice place to visit when in Rome! We took the drinks aperol spritz and Long Island ice tea!

After a long day walking around Rome, we arrived at Trastevere quite tired and, unusually for us, we stumbled upon this restaurant without doing any prior research. We ordered and then decided to check Trip Advisor to see the reviews which were less than complimentary, so we naturally feared the worse, especially when there wasn't many people in the restaurant. However, while the food is unlikely to win any awards, it was ok nothing to write home about, but neither was it bad or tasteless. We ordered bruschetta pomodero and penne arrabbiata to start, and then had a pizza each, plus a bottle of white wine. All of it was delivered on time by a friendly waiter. The final bill, including some water and the service charge, came to just short of €60 which is good considering the view we enjoyed. Obviously everyone's experience differs, but I wouldn't be too hasty to rule this restaurant out. Who knows, they might be learning from the mistakes mentioned in the previous reviews?
