Bidrage med feedbackGreat place for ire. feels very authentic and the personal is dead. they paid a lot of Irish music, and it felt like home. we had food and drinks. the pulled boar was particularly delicious and they have a great selection of...Irish and scotch whisky.
At our first day when it was just around the corner. on Sunday evening in the hope to get a few tips, how to get around rom. very little English with any personal. other reviews said eating excellent so decided to try it....Barely edible would be our experience. it is missing in the atmosphere. beer was ok. would go back for beer if in the contrary, but not food.
Recommended by our hotelier, we went to Rosy O'Grady for a late meal having been travelling all day. Well as soon as I saw the real ale hand pumps I knew I would like this place. Beer was outstanding, well kept (a little cold for...the purist maybe but when in Rome .. and nicely poured. Great place, nice friendly service. Proper good local pub. Loved it, just wish I could remember the name of the German IPA! Enjoyed it so much went back again, and received a warm welcome.
The food was great and cheap! The service was excellent, I believe her name was Mira. The owner/ bartender was fun as well. I definitely suggest going here. You will not regret it!
Beer is good but they have a ridiculous rule to not bring the glass outside, so if you want to smoke during drinking beer it's better to choose another place. that's really disappointing because almost every pub/restaurant nearby has a several tables outside, and a..._real_ British/Irish pubs usually have a sort of shelves by the walls outside to put glasses on.
