Pizza Cucina E - Roma

We stopped at Pizza Cucina e for dinner and it was very good. My pizza was delicious and we devoured it. The restaurant was a lovely change of pace. It was also really convenient to our hotel and shopping.

Arriving in this area of Rome from the airport in mid afternoon on Saturday can be frustrating if you want something to eat; most restaurants don't open until 7 or 8pm. However, if you want a convenient quick bite, Pizza Cucina e is the place. Square pizza (including a vegetarian option) is sold by weight, and various other hot dishes are available. Service is quick and friendly, and good English is spoken I was recognised immediately as non Italian. Very busy at lunchtime during the working week. Highly recommended.
