But it's rare that I go to a restaurant where the staff just give off a really focussed, serious vibe about what they are doing, the food they are cooking and how it's served. Really thoughtful and clearly passionate behaviour! Reasonably priced just a lovely experience.
When we walked inside it was a beautiful environment, we were very impressed by the lighting and the setting. We sat down in the garden in the back, there was a fan so the temperature was perfect! We started off ordering the deconstructed tempura squash blossoms. They were delicious, very crisp and flavorful, we thought the anchovies took away from the squash blossom flavor but overall it was a great dish to start off with. For main entries we ordered the spaghetti “bendetto cavalieri”, Gratinated fish fillet, and one Focaccia. The Spaghetti was incredible, a solid 9/10, the sauce was so creamy and you could tell the tomatoes were cooked perfectly. The fish was excellent, it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very cheesy and delicious. And finally the Focaccia, this dish disappointed us unfortunately, the bread was really good but the combination was dissatisfying and there was just not a lot of taste, definitely missing something.
A friend made me the reservation as a gift and it turned out to be one of the best gifts I had ever been given. I cannot remember the names of every dish (fried squash blossoms with mozzarella and mint, lemon pasta with sea bass, and the most incredible Tiramisu I have ever had), but I will never forget the way I the staff made me feel like family. For my last day in Italy, it could not have been a better experience.
Really one of the best restaurants in rom. without doubt the best pasta! I was often disappointed to eat in rom, but so glad I made it to pianostrada. I dined on the bar and could interact and observe the chefs. they were warm and welcoming. a real tasty bite! I started with crispy artichoke with creamy pecorino cheese with vinegar reduction crispy and tasty. then schottana rind meat tare very tender. the pasta. so good. tagliardella with Ragú.l with Guinea-Fowl, rabbit, mushroom, olive and Parmesan cheese. really amazon! thank you chiara!
Il pane fresco della vostra cucina con il delizioso burro d'oliva all'inizio, aiuta con la scelta del vino di polpo, il design più bello del carciofo, il cui tutto ha portato al disordini della nostra intera azienda! Ottimo servizio. Grazie mille per il tempo meraviglioso.
