Panzirone - Roma

Had an earlier lunch so able to get an outside table. The hawker was good at his job. Tried the bucatino all'amatriciana, a pasta with cheek lard, tomato sauce, pecorino cheese and black pepper. I'm no foodie but it was a thicker than normal spaghetti. The meal was slowly washed down with an aperol sprit. You are paying for the location but consider it a treat.

Here from America on vacation—found this wonderful spot while admiring the beautiful fountains on the square nearby. Our server was so warm and welcoming. The manager also made time to stop by and welcome us. The hostess offered me a warm blanket—chilly night in Rome. We had the most delicious food—Fettuccini Bolognese, Cannelloni Bolognese, Minestrone Soup, and a Greco Salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. The wine and limoncello were delicious too! What a fabulous dinner to begin our stay in Rome! So grateful—highly recommend!!!

Went yesterday the starter was actually really nice (nudja arancini) but the fillet steak was so over cooked I couldn’t get a steak knife through it manager totally disinterested and said as I ate some it was tough and he wouldn’t do anything to make it right. Partners pork also overcooked. If you do dare go just eat pizza fried foods as they seem to only be able to manage that

Questa mia recensione è particolare. Erano circa le e mi trovavo in Piazza Navona con l'esigenza di preparare il biberon di latte per mia figlia. Entro da Panzirone ed un signore gentilissimo si preoccupa, me lo prepara, controlla la temperatura, la aggiusta e con estrema cura me lo restituisce con un bel sorriso nonostante l'ora tarda.Lo stupore si è completato quando ho chiesto quanto dovevo..... la risposta è stata NIENTE! Rimani sorpreso.... a Piazza Navona non te lo aspetti.Probabilmente sarebbe ora di cancellare i pregiudizi....Grazie mille e mille auguri per tutto!A presto.

We had a nice time here and the food was great. many reviews that say the drinks are expensive, but we had 2 large pizzas (they were excellent) with water and beer and paid 45 €, which was for a first class location and with fast service was very convenient in our mind. we would recommend!
