Orchidea - Roma

We popped in for a quick bite around lunch. Early for Rome standards so it was empty. That worked to our advantage as we had the Owner? Constantino's full attention. We ordered pizza and drinks and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was really tasty, made by Gabriella, and filling. We were able to speak with both fairly well and they were both so friendly. When we complimented the pizza Constantino kept saying it was their own production with a huge smile on his face. He even had Gabriella come over so we could tell her how much we enjoyed it. Before we left he surprised us with complimentary ice cream that was very good. We ended up going back our last day for another ice cream and to say goodbye.

It’s an OK stop for a quick fill up. We had a sandwich and one of the pastas. Food was not noteworthy, atmosphere very plain.

Had a nice meal in this place there are so many restaurants' it's hard to get around to them all. Staff very helpful.

Ottimo gelato. Gentilezza del proprietario, cortesia e professionalità. Ci ritornerò. A presto è stato un piacere.
