Bidrage med feedbackYou should go to Nonna Elena to discover traditional Italian flavors: a central location with delicious food, good price and excellent staff!
For our final day in Rome after a longer travel around the Amalfi coast, we wanted to eat well and say goodbye properly. Having walked for hours screening TripAdvisor for good places to eat, we finally found Nonna Elena fit to support our needs, and boy were we not disappointed! Charmingly decorated, with stylish simplicity, just like the Roman cuisine itself. From the minute we set foot inside the restaurant, the owner Fabio made us feel welcome, and treated us graciously. Such a warm hearted man, and what a great chef behind him too! We had Pasta alla Carbonara, Pasta alle Gricia (best! and my girlfriend had an extremely well done, crispy pork chop of some sort, with potatoes. The wine, Pinot Nero, recommended by Fabio was perfect and made everything come together beautifully. ‘Do you trust me?’ Fabio said before we were to order dessert, and came in few minutes later with a surprise dessert that completely knocked us over. We dont even know what it was. But it was just amazing. What a way to end our holiday <3 If you are anywhere near Nonna Elena make the effort and go. You surely wont regret it !
I was fish hungry in Prati, after eating too much pasta, pizza meat, when I found, just down my B B, this little restaurant almost empty. The time I seated, the restaurant started to fill up, but all the sea food I ordered was fresh, simple and tasty. A good address to come back.
Cibo ottimo! Vino e acqua... Amaro... E niente serata suuuper!Abbiamo speso 25 euro a testa !! Da ritornarci sicuramente! Locale tranquillo e spazioso.
