Monte Caruso - Roma

Call ahead and make reservations. This is definitely off the beaten path and not in plain view. Once you find this place, head down the steps and ring the buzzer. They greeted my wife and I and confirmed our reservation. He took our coats and showed us to our table. We ordered the menu Sorico each and it was more than enough food for us. Red wine pairs well with the pasta. The desert was amazing and prepared right in front of our table. What a great dining experience for our first night in Rome. Thank you so much!

Small family-like restaurant. Love the environment and the service is very nice. It is my first time to visit Roma and I think it is the best restaurant I have ever tried. Foodise is incredible. I have ordered a cacio e pepe, which is the best pasta I have tried in Roma. the flavor is strong but tastes really good and the side dish, pepperoni 'crushi ', also surprised me. I have never tried this dish before, and it tastes very good as well.

Oh my gosh, this was our favorite place we ate at in Roma. The service was absolutely incredible, from a small 3 person staff. The space was quiet and romantic and just a great atmosphere in general. The food was also delicious we recommend the option on the menu where the chef can decide the 3 primi pastas for the meal. We are so happy we stumbled upon this place!
