Il Giubileo - Roma

This restaurant was a short distance from our lodgings, and had good reviews, so let’s try it, we thought. Indeed, seemed popular with locals, and we looked forward to the great food we are used to when visiting Italy. We were disappointed, however. While the service and wine were good, the mixed seafood, scallopini, and salad were mediocre and fairly flavorless. What a shame to waste one of our few evening meals in Rome!

This was our second visit in two years where this wonderful restaurant has pulled out all the stops for our choir tour and put on an amazing lunch feast for us. Every course is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing and we just had the best time. It really was exceptional. Thank you.

I live around the corner and have been twice here with my business associate. The food is excellent, the service is top, the owner is courteous and the location is lovely (and convenient) I highly recommend! Enjoy

We ordered from takeaway, an appetizer and a first tris for 8 people, all very good and abundant. We'll be back.
