I heard from my friend that this gelato is best and I wasn't disappointed. I fell in love with the flavors (my favorite ones are limone, mango and fragola . I also liked that the workers are really helpful and nice to other people!

Everyone who lives in Rome claims the best gelateria is the one right near their house. However I am lucky that in my case it's true! Danielgelo is my local gelateria and it is by some way the best in Rome. Having lived here since 2009 I have tried many, including those you always read about in the guidebooks and newspaper articles about Rome, but Danielgelo beats them all. The fruit flavours are the best it is literally like eating the ice cream version of the fruit but the dark chocolate (cioccolato fondente) is also exceptional, especially the version with orange in it. To top it off the staff are great, the free samples are generous, the prices are frankly too low when you consider places trendy ice cream places like Grom etc. and in the summer they are open until about 2am for late night gelato.
