Bidrage med feedbackAn alpine stube in roma, curious but true! dishes of the Alpine tradition, cooked very well, like the stinco, the panata cotoletta and the different fondues. great food, river beer and festive atmosphere. only flaw: the service maybe a little slow, although the waiters were very kind and fun. and then the fact, common to many restaurants of roma, that often the rooms where to eat are under the ground. So, if you can, book a table in the hall at the entrance to the road height.
After quite some time living of pasta in italy, we were craving a classical Wienerschnitzel. To our surprise, there are quite a few options in Rome. While it was not quite as good as what I have experienced in the DACH-region, it was still tasty and a great representation of traditional Austrian cuisine. The side dish to the wienerschnitzel, the kässpätzle, were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very pleasant, with a cozy and welcoming ambiance. While the prices were a bit higher than in a comparable italian restaurant, I found it to be worth it for the experience. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of DACH while in Rome, although it may not quite compare to dining in these countries itself. They also offer fondue.
I had already been in Cantina Tirolese many years ago and had already very good memories. I can just confirm my old positive judgment: cosy place, good atmosphere, nice service and very tasteful, well cooked food. It was really worth the money spent!
Very little for vegetarians, but the dishes that are, are excellent. All perfectly seasoned, especially the ravioli superb. Liked it a lot.
Wonderful and traditional place, excellent food from the first to the last reach, kind and helpful waiters. recommend the pork stylus and ruspante chicken
