Caffe' Capitolino - Roma

This is a lovely café atop the Musei Capitolino to relax. I cannot comment on the food itself, but we enjoyed some drinks. There's indoor seating and a rooftop pavilion with additional seating. The view from the rooftop is outstanding. My major complaint is price e.g., 4,00€ for a small Coca Cola.

Caffe Capitolino has very mediocre food but stunning views overlooking Rome which is how it stays in business. Like with most Italian cafes, you pay first at the cash register and then take your receipt to the bar where they fill your order of coffee drinks, sandwiches, etc. There was also a full service restaurant on the terrace but we wanted to get just a quick bite and so went to the Caffe.

One of the best places for lunch in Rome. There are 2 parts always choose the outside lunch tent you can sit in sofas with the best view of the cathedrals and pantheon you could hope for. The lunch menu is excellent and the desserts divine. My wife eat here often and it has never disappointed.

It is more beautiful to see (the view is beautiful) than to live it. Frankly disappointed. I went for an event. Very poor food. Not much. Sofas, chairs, really counted tables. The raised part where there is the platform... every 10' a woman left us the framed heel, as the wood is not united. Good thing the event and the money paid wasn't mine.

The place is beautiful and the amazing view, lacks some care in the relationship with customers
