Delicious cheap pizza clean.customer service a bit off hand but didnt matter as there was a huge choice of delicious pizza.
Yesterday before leaving Rome we stopped at Alice Pizza in Via Marsala 66, which is conveniently located next to Termini train station. We were immediately greeted by the friendly lady at the counter, ordered many slices of pizza and she warmed them up for us. The pizza was tasty, with good quality toppings and combination (I loved the spicy eggplant , the dough was bubbly and had a crunchy base. After our first round we were given a focaccia free of charge, and eventually we ordered some more slices as they were very light. Big thumbs up for the ladies working in this pizzeria, for the pizzaiolo who looked very skilled, and for the overall cleanliness and quality of the ingredients used. This was hands down my favorite Alice Pizza location I have been to in all Italy. P.s: cari saluti da Lugano :
We went for a quick pizza al taglio at alice as soon as we got off the train, as we were starving and we know the brand well. They had a decent variety of pizzas when we arrived (close to 12), and we decided to eat in as we had our luggage. The place isn't very charming (there were two homeless guy having a slice close to us), but it fills you up for cheap. Overall a good place to grab a quick pizza, especially if you are coming or leaving from Termini train station.
By far the worst pizza place I’ve been into in Italy. A brown haired lady with glasses serving us started shouting us when we debated who would invite the other (custom in my country). She went on an unprompted tirade of shouting and our friend who spoke Italian was too polite to respond. We paid 20 euros for racist, subpar customer service and really average pizza (we tried potato pizza and eggplant pizza). There are much nicer places that are worth your money and your respect.
