Bidrage med feedbackPluses- I ordered Farmers Fridge one time so far and I must say that the salads I tried were REALLY yummy. So much so that I just placed a second order. Minuses- 1-I am the only person in my household that likes salads. I had one per day and ended up not getting to half of my order before it passed the expire date. 2- The jars aren't all that full. The lettuce is very lightly placed in the jars which makes the jars kind of look full. but when push-comes-to-shove, the jars are really only half full. 3- Delivery is kind of slow too. But maybe I'd spoiled by companies like Amazon and other quick shipping companies.
The food is fresh, flavorful and inexpensive. I can speak from the vending frig and delivery service BOTH was a good experience. My box was placed on my front porch out of sight, jars and wraps protected from the possibility of in climate weather. My vending experience was outstanding once I understood the how. What blow my mind was getting a FRESH salad/wrap from a machine and it be sooo good. Thank you for your attention to detail
I would have wholeheartedly recommended Farmers Fridge with my first order. Everything was very good and portions were not bad. Just got my second order yesterday and I was very disappointed in 2 of 5 salads. Not much in two of them. I would recommend the dressing not be put in the jar.
Just okay. The salads are large enough, fresh enough but weird. Too many mis-matched ingredients of average quality. Meats are cut into tiny pieces, bland, watery and VERY sparse. Dressings vary from ok to tasteless. Bowls are minuscule. The breakfast options are a little better BUT: the Chocolate-Cherry Chia has barely any cherry and the Apple-Berry parfait has tiny pieces of frozen fruit. All in all, I can call ahead to a GREAT local restaurant and pick up a much higher quality dish for the same price.
I had such high hopes for this. At least it wasn't a complete disappointment. I ordered for home delivery, and have not tried everything yet. The first salad I tried was the Greek, which I ate moments after receiving the shipment. It was a good size, and was o.k. The spinach was not super-fresh, but was not rotting yet. There was plenty of dressing, but it wasn't really flavorful. The tomatoes were not really ripe. I have 2 more salads and 2 bowls to eat over the weekend, and I'm hoping the spinach and other veggies in them holds up. I ordered a couple of the chia puddings and a Greek yogurt to round out the box. I just ate the yogurt, and it was meh. Some of the fruit was still frozen. There was alot of liquid/water in the yogurt, probably from the fruit. I have not tried the puddings, but they look watery (like the yogurt). To top it off, one of the ice packs leaked, making everything wet and sticky in the box. It didn't get into the jars, but as someone who is allergic to cornstarch, I had concerns. Update: 2 days after arrival, I ate the chicken salad. It was actually better than the Greek salad, but the spinach was definitely on it's way out. The two puddings were in desperate need of sweetener, and the fruit layer was nowhere near what was shown in the pictures. The pineapple pudding looked GROSS (although it didn't taste bad). My husband said the Thai noodle bowl was tasty enough.
