The Halfway House Bar Restaurant

Only been for breakfast a few times. Initially the **** service and the churlish waiting staff was comical. However after 3 visits it just got worse to the point of rudeness. Give a miss Oscars is where you need to be.

Came here for Sunday lunch and staff was very mean and had attitude. Food was served and meat was raw patatoes were cold and the waitress wouldn’t give us any more veg since they’re was 12 of us and staff was disgusting had to warm soft drink worst place ever

A light lunch sandwich very nice for a small bite to eat. They do an extensive menu and I have previously experienced there breakfast which is also very nice. The venue is more like a cafeteria but the food is well prepared and staff are very friendly.

We have just had a special lunch with friends here. The food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make our friends birthday meal very special. The chicken curry was tasty, the meat pie delicious and the scampi was good. And all served with a smile from the staff. Thank you so much for your outstanding service. We will be back!

Very nice service from a lovely lady. It’s a pretty standard fry up but served quickly and with a smile! What’s not to like?
