Newk's Eatery - Rogers

I wanted to like this place, really. But the counter and the table service was like I was bothering them. The food was meh, at best. For what I paid for a soda and a sandwich, I expected a LOT better.

There is something to be said about a truly disastrous meal, a meal forever stuck in your memory because it’s so uniquely bad, that it can only be deemed an achievement. I mean so bad it makes you wonder if we live in a simulation and they programmed this restaurant to be this horrendous. Imagine waiting a lifetime in an empty drive-thru for a turkey sandwich with laser-thin meat. That also cost a fortune. Wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last thing to eat on earth. Please don’t waste you’re time stopping by.

I decided to give Newk's a try after having a bad experience many years prior. It wasn't as bad as I remember, but still room for improvement. I got the turkey bacon club and it was good except for the turkey being kinda hard and dry. I also got tomato soup with it and it was good. I'll probably get something else next time.

Very slow... no point in placing online orders if it won't even have started 15 minutes past the pickup time.

Newks is decent in a pinch, but this last visit they got our order wrong twice. We ordered two sandwiches and after having them remade twice we finally got our correct order after one hour.....the staff seemed less than interested in being there and tables were clearly sitting without having been cleaned. They may have been short staffed while we were there, but it's not an experience I'd repeat when there are other options nearby.
