Vols Diner - Rocky Top

Lucky find last Aug passing thru since eclipse traffic on 75 wasnt going anywhere. Stop now every trip thru. Southern diner food done real well to my liking and run by friendly folks. Fried bologna sandwich really good burgers and fries cut fresh when you order. Always get a country ham biscuit for the road Nothing fancy but good eats and looking forward to their move to new locale with more space and parking.

Such a great little place! Super clean and extremely affordable. All the employees were exceptionally friendly. I had the veggie omelet with a side of hash browns. It was HUGE! I shared with my husband and he also had a two stack of pancakes. The kids ordered the French toast off the regular menu, 6 smaller slices, plus one had bacon and the other had sausage patties and they ate it all. Everything was SO GOOD! Perfect little stop on our long trip home.

Passing through and decided to stop, seems like a local favorite! Got a 4oz steak, hashbrowns, 2 eggs, biscuit and gravy for $8.99! Food was excellent and service was spot on!

Stopped in Rocky Top for lunch, and wanted something local. This didn't look like much from the outside, but inside we found a lovely cafe full of friendly staff that treated us like family. The food was simple, but we'll made and delicious.

Travel down the road a little bit after getting off expressway, it'll be worth it. Far better than Cracker Barrel. Good portions and all around good diner food. Very friendly servers.
